      Bharati National Essay Competition Awards Function-2014 Publications Division, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting organized the Bal Bharati Essay Competition Awards Function on 6th August 2014. The competition which aims to test the originality and creativity of children saw a record number of ten thousand entries in 2013. In order to adjudge the winners a ten member selection committee consisting of renowned people from the world of children’s literature was constituted. The winners of the National Essay Competition were awarded at specially organized function at India International Centre, New Delhi. Importance of Indo-US Nuke Deal :  The agreement for the Indo-US nuke deal was reached between Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and US president Mr. George W. Bush on July 18,2005 during Dr. SIngh's State visit to the US.Later on March 2, 2006,the deal was clinched when Mr. Bush visited India.Since then, it has been awaiting Congressional approval.The basic objective of the deal is to allow the US to have civilian nuclear trade and technology with India besides blazing the trail for the international community to have nuclear cooperation with the country.
